How To Import Photos To iPad

There are a few ways to get your images from one source to Apple’s tablet. One of the ways is to purchase an accessory that lets you transfer images directly from your camera or iPhone to the said tablet. To transfer images using this method, follow these steps:

  1. Purchase the camera connection kit from Apple.

This kit includes the USB connector for your camera and an SD card reader. The former is used to transfer images from your digital camera to this tablet of Apple. You may also utilize it to load images from your iPhone to this brand of tablet. If your images are in an SD card, you may use the included SD card reader.

This connection kit, however, does not support earlier version of iPhone.

  1. Lock the tablet’s screen.

This is to avoid accidentally opening an app while connecting the adapter to the tablet.

  1. Connect the appropriate connector to the tablet

After you have locked the screen, you must insert the USB connector into the connector slot of the said tablet.

  1. Connect the cord.

Get the USB cord included in the package when you purchase your device (camera or iPhone). Connect the one end of the cord into your camera or your iPhone. The other end of the cord should be connected to the tablet.

  1. Unlock the tablet.
  2. Read the options.

One of the options you will be provided is to transfer all images to the tablet. Should you wish to copy selected images only, you must tap individual images. Then, tap the “Import” button.

  1. Disconnect the adapter and the cord.

Once you are done transferring the images, you may carefully unplug the adapter and the cord.

To transfer images using your secure digital memory card, you simply have to connect the SD card reader adapter into the tablet. After that, you may insert the SD card that contains the images you want to copy from the card to this device. Then, follow the steps below:

  1. Unlock the tablet.

Once you have inserted the SD card to the adapter, you must unlock the tablet.

  1. Transfer images.

Start copying all images by clicking the “transfer all” images button. To transfer selected images only, you must select individual images and tap the “transfer” button.

  1. Disconnect the cord and the SD card adapter.

On the other hand, if you wish to save an image from the web to the said tablet, you may perform the following steps:

  1. Open the browser on the said tablet.
  2. Go to the web page that contains the image you want to transfer.
  3. Press and hold the image down.
  4. Tap the “Save Image” option.

The image you have selected to transfer to this tablet is automatically saved to your Camera Roll album.

Another way to transfer images to Apple’s tablet is through iTunes. The overall process of transferring images via iTunes is the same as transferring images or files to your iPhone. All you have to do is follow these steps:

  1. Plug the tablet into your computer that contains the images.

To connect your tablet to your computer, you may use the bundled USB cable included with your device.

  1. Wait for the iTunes on your computer to detect the tablet.
  2. Go to the Images tab in iTunes.
  3. Select the images you want to transfer across the tablet.
  4. Choose the Sync button.

By tapping this button, the selected images are transferred to your Apple’s tablet.
